Tea Party: a World Premiere Play

This taut, sophisticated and wicked thriller touches a match to the tinder of violent rhetoric, asking who exactly will win a 2nd US Civil War

Pick your cocktail—Martini or Molotov.

Gordon Dahlquist’s TEA PARTY is a taut, sophisticated, and wicked, 90-minute comedy thriller that teases out the logical consequences of violent political rhetoric in America’s near future. Have we been here before? How will we make our way out this time? And who benefits from the strife?

When an act of left-wing domestic terrorism touches off the dry tinder of violent right-wing political rhetoric, will a new USA rise from the ensuing conflagration, or will it fall into more sinister hands? TEA PARTY’s irresistible momentum plays out a tense game of cat and mouse with flashes of delightfully wicked comedy.

This WORLD PREMIERE production features a Stellar Local Cast: Cassidy Brown*, Anthony Cistaro*; Livia Gomes Demarchi*, Bob Greene*, Louel Señores, Isabel Anne Torres.
